Trubo Alternators are alternators incorporates with turbines. The turbo-alternators run at high speeds and develop large quantities of power generally on the hundreds of Megawatts. The speed of rotors is approx 3000 rpm (50 Hz) or 3600 (60 Hz). These alternators are sensitive machines and operate at high speed.
