Global Automotive Antifreeze Market Overview:
Automotive antifreeze is an additive that can modify the freezing and boiling points of the coolant in internal combustion engines that use water cooling. It protects the system from the ill effects of ice formation. Antifreeze such as ethylene glycol or propylene glycol commonly added to water in automobile cooling systems prevents damage to radiators. The primary function of these additives is to prevent the liquid coolant from freezing, which can cause extensive damage to the engine. It performs two primary functions including lowering of the freezing point of coolant and raising the boiling point of the coolant.
