In February 2020, Lumex Instruments, manufacture of laboratory analytical and science equipment, industry and research instruments, launched the new direct Zeeman mercury analyzer RA-915 Lab. It offers excellent analysis throughput and delivers lowest analysis costs due to the absence of consumables and reagents needed for analysis.
According to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), there is a specific analysis technique for determining mercury levels. When selecting an analyser, be sure to check which regulatory methods need to comply with and whether the chosen equipment complies with that method. For example, if a laboratory is required to analyse samples of using U.S. EPA Method 245.1, then labs will need to use cold vapour atomic absorption (CVAA).
