Turbine pumps are referred to as the special types of centrifugal pumps which uses turbine-like impellers with radially oriented teeth to move fluid. They are even called a vortex, regenerative pumps or periphery. These pumps combine the pressure which is of high discharge of multi-stage centrifugal pumps or positive displacement with the flexible operation of the centrifugal pumps.
