IGBT Module Market Scope
The IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) module is a three-terminal semiconductor device with a huge bipolar current-carrying capability. It is mainly required for inverter use in various types of industrial equipment and machines. It is used in medium to high power applications like switch on and off mode power supplies, traction, motor control and equipment used in induction heating. The device consists of many devices in parallel and can provide very high current handling capabilities with hundreds of amperes blocking voltages of 6500 V.
