Nanosensor are chemical or mechanical sensors that can be used to detect the presence of nanoparticles and chemical species. These are extremely small devices and are capable of detecting & responding to physical stimuli with the dimensions on order of one billionth of a meter. Nanosensors are widely used in medicinal purpose, and as gateways to building other nanoproducts, such as computer chips. Nanosensors are also used in the detection of chemical, physical and other properties of simple organisms to complex cell organisms. It is used in aerospace & defense- nanosensor pass through the membrane and into the white blood cell to detect early radiation damage or infection. Nanosensors can also be used for the detection of physio-mechanical properties and electromagnetic properties. Nanosensors used in the food industry improve various sub-areas that includes agriculture, air, and water quality monitoring, food processing, and packaging and transport.
