About Argon Knife
A knife with a sharp edge and pointed tip. It is used to cut through the skin without damaging the epidermis or dermis layer of the skin with minimum blood loss. This tool is also known as an electrician’s knife, which is made from high carbon stainless steel and has a double blade that comes in handy when you need to make cuts on the face for laser hair removal treatments. The argon gas that comes out of this device makes it easy for to get rid of unwanted hair by cutting them off at their roots. Argon knife is used in minimally invasive surgeries for tumour treatment. It enters the tumour through a percutaneous puncture and kills the tumour cells by dropping the temperature to -160C, without harming the adjacent healthy cells. Argon knife is used to treat cancers such as liver cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma, breast cancer, uterine cancer, and others.
