In June 2018, Nokia has partnered with M1, which is a Singaporean mobile carrier, for the trail of 5G small cells. Nokia’s Flexi Zone Wi-Fi equipment and small cells rolled out M1’s 4.5G NB-IoT Heterogeneous Network (HetNet) in Singapore to carry out the trail of 5G small cells.
In November 2018, Huawei has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Edotco, for the implementation of digital mobile network solutions. The company is an integrated telecommunications service provider, in Malaysia. Post this agreement, Huawei has offered multi-operator, and multi-technology indoor and outdoor solutions based on 5G-ready small cell networks for increasing its market share in Italy.
