The Steam Condenser is a mechanical system that transforms low-pressure turbine exhaust steam to water. There are two primary reasons to use steam condenser; the first is to maintain low pressure at the outlet of the steam turbine and another reason is to supply pure feed water to the hot well which will again be pumped to the boiler pump. Steam Condenser is also used to increase the heat transfer rate by eliminating other non-condensable gases from exhaust steam.
