Market Development Activities
In March 2022, Bosch acquired Atlatec, a company that creates high-resolution 3D maps for Level 3 and 4 autonomous driving. Bosch said the acquisition makes it a one-stop shop for self-driving building blocks. Atlatec will become part of Bosch's Cross-Domain Computing Solutions division and will operate as an independently operated company. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

In May 2022, Continental launched a new sensor to protect batteries in electric vehicles. Continental's extensive sensor portfolio is expanded with sensors designed specifically for electromobility to support both road safety and electrification. A high-voltage current sensor module (CSM) provides current and temperature information to keep the battery safe and ensure long-term durability.
